Rituals

Writer: RavenRaven

Hey EvenFall! Happy Wednesday! Let's talk about rituals. Rituals in the modern age are tasks, or routines. For most of us, it's waking up, eating, brushing your teeth, and going to work. For those that corporate let go such as myself, instead of going to work I preach the Bible and I'm self employed. Meaning the success of my business is dependent on my actions. Which for me is preaching. However, there are those identified as "haters". As in people that are obsessed with my downfall. Just yesterday I had 2 people or rather, two "Christians" judge my morning routine. They questioned my very existence. That's the thing about Christians. 100% of Christians I've met are very racist. Even worse, they've never opened the Bible! Or even thought about it! I would say this baffles me. But I'm not shocked. I get next to no engagement on these posts. Why? Because people don't like to read. Again, people obsess over your downfall. The moment I DO get success, these people will very much destroy you for it. Which is the opposite of Jesus' commandment. Love thy neighbor. But how can I love my neighbor if my neighbor wishes me dead? Let's take today's inspiration from 1 Kings. King Solomon, while he was wise, successfully introduced paganism as a result of his pursuit of knowledge. As a result, people especially his children thought that having over 700 wives would make them cool. So, they all started sleeping with each other. In a literal sense, God was forgotten. His word fell away to the wind. The uprising of the god that was Baal was what the children of men wanted. Since we can't see God, but we can see Baal. As a result, shrines all over the place were built to perform rituals to Baal, not God. Take heed. Don't worship these celebrities. Don't even praise your friends. Thank God for all He does for us. Thanks for reading!
