Exchanges - Words for Rewards

Hey EvenFall! Happy Tuesday! Let's talk about exchanges. More specifically words over rewards. What most of us like to do is gossip about the lives of others. Especially if we keep our lives private. Thinking we will get a moral reward as a result. When we gossip about others we don't win anything. If anything, our trust has been betrayed. This is why Raven Principle 2 is so important. Trust no one, not even yourself. I know it's very tempting to share info we just got. Such as getting a promotion or hearing someone might get fired. We must resist the urge to overshare our personal lives. I've since stopped sharing 99% of my personal life with people. As that's led to many of my shortcomings. Last night's dream involved a married couple. The man was very happy. However he had concerns in his head that she was sleeping with his best friend. This fear was confirmed when he saw a video of her kissing his best friend in a video at the school where his kids attended. During the aftermath she had told me she was talking to as many people as possible to sleep with them. She asked me if I would tell anyone. I said no as that's not my business. A couple days after that, she took her own life. Because people denounced his wife in public the consequence was her losing her life. Let's take today's inspiration from Genesis. Rebecca, Isaac's wife, Overheard him talking to Esau asking for meat since he was a hunter. She immediately told Jacob to get meat for his dad. He did so. Since Jacob was disguised as Esau, Isaac thought the meat was from Esau and blessed Jacob. When the real Esau came home with his meat and presented it to Isaac, Isaac said he had already blessed him. Esau, upset, left home. Things eventually calmed down but the damage was done. Take heed. Not all info is positive or will lead to positive outcomes. Keep everything to yourself.
